The examination conducted by AssurancePoint, LLC (www.assurancepoint.cpa) found that Candid Health had designed and implemented sufficient and appropriate controls to achieve Candid Health’s control objectives related to Claims and Payment Interface Processing, Invalid Claims and Interface Error Handling, Account Balances, Billing, Data Communications, Logical Access, and Change Management. The examination concluded in an unqualified (clean) opinion.

SOC 1 reports evaluate controls at service organizations that are relevant to customers’ internal control over financial reporting. Candid Health’s SOC 1 report provides users of its services information regarding the design of its internal controls relevant to their own financial reporting or to the auditors of user entities. The information presented in Candid’s report was thoroughly examined by AssurancePoint, a licensed CPA firm.
